Graduated in Law from Universidade Paulista and in Accounting from Universidade de São Francisco.
He has more than 26 years of experience in the tax law area. Combining the legal, tax and accounting views, he worked in tax compliance projects, tax planning, corporate restructuring, credit recovery, defenses against infraction notices, lawsuits, monitoring of inspections, among numerous other projects.
Acted in acquisition projects coordinating the implementation of corporate structures such as: Procter & Gamble with Gillette Brasil; West Rock with Rigesa; Eaton with Clark Brasil; TRW with Freios Vargas; etc. He was responsible for the tax restructuring / planning of the GOL, NET, CLARO, Robert Bosch, International Paper, Knorr Bremse Groups, among others.
Member of the Jorlan Group’s Audit Committee.
He was the director of EY Brasil’s Tax Law Department, where he worked for 22 years and was a leading partner in the Direct Tax Law Department at Grant Thornton Brasil, being responsible for the development and expansion of this line of services.
